This is a comment I posted on the Facebook wall of Dean Tony La Vina on a need for a ground commander in Leyte:

“At this point, appointing a ground commander is the last of the government’s priorities, even if it did make it to a check list. That’s because it’s reached a point of no-return, a no-win situation for the Aquino administration. It’s clear nobody among the most trusted of the President’s men possess the competence. Mar Roxas was put in charge (in the guise of being part of a committee) in another vain effort to prop his presidential ambition. But it became a disaster in itself. If the President looked outside his close circle to hire a competent person, and that person did a good job, then the incompetence of this administration would be highlighted. All the criticism will be proven true. So much fear dominates the mind and heart of the man in the Palace to the point that he is rendered inutile”
