Indeed, news are the soul of a television network.

Well, the answer is simple: ABS-CBN was never about public service. It was always about profit. Money, money, money.

This is the reason why the talents in its entertainment programs are paid handsomely. ABS-CBN pampered its entertainment talents and starved the men and women who delivered the news — the core of its “public service”.

Hypocrisy at its height!
