The Dungon bridge: another monument of corruption

The Citizens Infrastructure Integrity Watchdog (InfraWatch) has deplored what it called the wasteful expenditure of P50 million for the Dungon Bridge project linking Jaro and Mandurriao districts.
The bridge was demolished even though its columns and girders were in good condition. It would have been enough for DPWH to reinforce the structure with the use of modern technology, said Ricardo Ramos, executive director of InfraWatch.
The project became the center of controversy recently because it was reopened to traffic although the supposed widening to four lanes had not been completed.
its not wasted i think (the 50 million). it was shared among GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS and private individuals involved! ooppss.. cyber-libel!
you are absolutely correct!
